Moneni Pirates Football Club proudly celebrated a memorable evening at the 2025/26 MTN Premier League Awards as the club received recognition for its outstanding performances both on and off the field.
The awards served as a fitting reflection of the progress made by the Buccaneers throughout the season, highlighting the dedication of the players, technical team and management as the club continues its mission to restore Moneni Pirates to the summit of Eswatini football.
A major highlight of the evening was the recognition of star striker Senanelo Nkambule, who was honoured with the MTN Premier League Player of the Month Award following a series of outstanding performances for the club.
Nkambule's goals, work ethic and consistency have made him one of the standout performers in the league and a key figure in Moneni Pirates' impressive campaign. The club also celebrated the recognition of Communications and Public Relations Officer Sluga Simelane, whose nomination acknowledged the exceptional work being done behind the scenes to strengthen the Moneni Pirates brand and engage supporters across the country.
Under the leadership of President Thulani Xaba, Moneni Pirates has enjoyed a remarkable period of growth and competitiveness. The club's performances during the season saw the Buccaneers establish themselves among the league's strongest teams, while also recording one of the league's longest unbeaten runs. Speaking after the awards, club leadership praised the collective effort behind the achievements.
